The Studio
A brand and go-to-market studio that builds what it recommends, run from Wickford, Rhode Island.
The Line and the Build
Positioning, narrative, design, development, and the physical pieces a company puts in front of the world all come from one practice. Strategy shops stop at the recommendation. Build shops make whatever they're handed. West Passage Studio does both, so the position you settle on is the one that ships. You get one line carried through the deck, the site, the system, and the booth, with nothing lost in a handoff. The work we want most needs the line and the build in the same pair of hands.
Named for the Measured Route
Narragansett Bay splits into two channels. The East Passage is the deep one, the shipping lane that carries most of the bay's traffic and all of its hurry. The West Passage runs quieter along the western shore. It's a measured route, taken on purpose.
We work from Wickford, the harbor village on that quieter channel. That vibe drives why the services menu runs all the way to Fabrication & Physical Builds, and why it is apropos that the studio keeps a woodshop alongside the style guides.
We help you find the line that's genuinely yours, then we build the surfaces that hold it. The measured route is slower to enter and steadier to keep, and it's the one we choose every time. That bearing runs through the work.
Who Holds the Pen
Robbie Frazelle has spent over sixteen years building brands and marketing systems inside cybersecurity and tech startups. He began his career in the marketing department at FishNet Security, facilitating a rebrand and merger as the company transitioned to Optiv; Director of Marketing and Design at Jolt Lighting through its scale and sale; Creative Director at Query through its Series A; and general marketing and design consulting for various companies of all sizes and stages. He's as comfortable in HubSpot and Google Analytics as he is in a woodshop or wiring addressable LEDs.
How We Engage
Every relationship starts at a diagnostic and earns its way up. We start with findings first, then a scoped project, then a standing seat. Each step is taken on purpose.
Flat Fee
A number set to the scope and agreed before we start. No surprises mid-engagement.
Fixed Scope
A defined engagement with a defined end, papered as an MSA with a per-engagement SOW.
Non-contingent
The fee pays for the work delivered. It is never tied to a raise, a round, or any outcome.
Take the Measured Route
If the line isn't clear yet, that's where we start. Most engagements begin with a Positioning Sprint, and every one of them begins with a conversation.
